Some door damage can be fixed, but this greatly depends on location, colour and if the door has a trim. In this example the damage to the door is beyond what a SMART repair is, however, being white the door and arch was able to be repaired.
Bumpers often get scuffed and can let the look of a car down. With SMART repair techniques scuffs can easily be repaired. The cost will be cheaper then most insurance excess and as you don’t claim your ‘no claims’ will be protected.
A wing mirror reconstruction example of a repair. This is a typical hit and run drive by on those pesky wing mirrors sticking out. It can be pretty devastating not only to you, but the wing mirror too. However, using special techniques the mirror can be reconstructed again. Minimal filler is needed and any small bits that may be missing can be filled in with actual plastic.
The mirror is then primed and rubbed down a number of times to create a smooth silky surface.
Finally the colour is applied and a nice thick coat of lacquer is put on top. The final look is perfect, nobody will ever know the extent of the damage and it only cost you a fraction of the price to buy a new one.
Clipping curbs can really spoil wheels. Here a quick repair is made on the wheel while its still on, the end result is flawless. No one will ever know!
