Minimal filler is needed and any small bits that may be missing can be filled in with actual plastic.
The mirror is then primed and rubbed down a number of times to create a smooth silky surface.
Finally the colour is applied and a nice thick coat of lacquer is put on top. The final look is perfect, nobody will ever know the extent of the damage and it only cost you a fraction of the price to buy a new one.
